Message from the PRESIDENT

Dear Club Member

There is no greater honour that to represent our club as your President and to be undertaking this role for the third time is a privilege I never imagined would come my way when I joined the club 25 years ago. Once again I shall endeavour to uphold the fine traditions of the club.

In 1999 and 2004 I appealed for your support in the myriad of jobs around the club and your help was forthcoming. I reiterate what I have said before that the club belongs to all of us, and all the jobs are voluntary, so any help you can give would be gratefully appreciated. I hope to organise work parties throughout the season and I would be delighted to see you.

I welcome all the new members who have joined us in the closed season and wish them a long and happy association with the club. Congratulations to Ian LItchfield on becoming President of the Rugby Bowling Association. We all wish you a successful season Ian.

Good luck to you all in your endeavours in the Club, R.B.A. and W.C.B.A. and National competitions. Above all i wish you good health, good friendship and good bowling throughout the season.
